Karma Kutir runs a showroom at 411/8 Hemanta Mukhopadhyaya Sarani (P-8
Gariahat Road), Kolkata - 29, to provide a marketing outlet for the
products crafted by women trained by Karma Kutir and working at the Self
Employment Centre at Karma Kutir. It remains open on Monday to Friday, from
11:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 11:00

am till 2:00 pm, excepting the second Saturday of the month, when the showroom
remains closed. This showroom was started in 1984 with the grant provided by
OXFAM.
|
|
Recently, Karma Kutir has entered into an agreement with Ganapati Parks Ltd.,
who run a showroom at City Centre Mall, Salt Lake, by the name of
Aakriti, to provide a marketing outlet for
products of various NGOs. Some of Karma Kutir Beneficiary products are being
displayed at
Aakriti.

Some items are also displayed at the
Bengal Home Industries Association,
Camac Street, Kolkata, for sale.
As a part of the income generation programme, Karma Kutir does extensive market
facilitation for the beneficiaries and facilitates/generates orders for them.
